Mission
Achieving a desirable position in national and regional relations is among the thematic priorities outlined in the Vision Document of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the country’s general policies for scientific and research growth and development.
To achieve this goal, and considering the importance of developing evidence-based scientific policies founded on research and scholarly studies, the Social Welfare Management Research Center, as the first research institution in the field of social welfare and social health in the country, fulfills its mission through conducting and expanding fundamental and applied research and contributing to policymaking in the areas of social welfare and social health based on a mission-oriented approach.

Five-Year Vision
Based on upstream policy documents and national macro-level policies and programs, the Social Welfare Management Research Center aims, through the implementation of its forthcoming strategic plan, to become a leading scientific authority in the field of social welfare and social health, with an emphasis on social harms, by the end of 2030 (1409 in the Iranian calendar).
The Center also aims to be recognized as a consultative reference at the national level for policymaking and planning in the aforementioned fields.

Strategic Goals
1. Developing fundamental and applied research in the fields of social health, welfare, and social harms, with a focus on disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, children, and women.
2. Expanding the application and effectiveness of research findings among academic communities, executive organizations, and the general public in the areas of social health, welfare, and social harms.
3. Developing, training, and enhancing the skills of researchers in the fields of social health, welfare, and social harms.
